Seven O’clock releases ‘Nothing Better’ and ‘Searchlight’

Seven O’clock is officially back with a new mini album and two singles, ‘Nothing Better’ and ‘Searchlight’.

I’m drawn to the melody of ‘Searchlight’ more. The choreography in “Searchliiiii~ah-ahahh~ight” part is cute too. It makes people want to dance along.😊 The boys look more charming here too. They should try a K-drama gig. Unlike other idols who look surreal and intimidating, these boys feel more relatable. That is their charm. They have a down-to-earth aura. They would make the perfect ‘boy next door’ or friend’s cool brother or crush-able classmate characters.

‘Nothing Better’ is my sort of introduction to the other members. 2Soul is such a cutie. Hyun seems mysterious. Taeyoung is one manly maknae. Jeonggyu keeps catching my eye with his lilac-colored hair. He looks kind of like HNB’s Kim Hyunsoo.😄 He did a good job taking on some rap parts since Sangwon left the group. I also like how his personality comes across in this video.

I’m still trying to adjust to the fact that Hangyeom is the hyung and leader of this group since there were many participants in Mix Nine who were older than him so I’m not used to it. I’m actually a new ROSe. I only got introduced to them through Mix Nine. Song Hangyeom’s dancing captivated me so I looked this group up. They are so underrated. They don’t have the best produced music videos but all the songs in their first mini album were fantastic.👍 I was pleasantly surprised. I think this was one of the reasons why an agency known for producing OSTs, The Forest, signed Seven O’ Clock. I listened to the highlight medley of their second album. It also sounds promising. I liked ‘Heal Me’ and Searchlight’ best. (See my post about their albums)

I’m looking forward to their music show promotions. With Song Hangyeom becoming active as well, I hope we can see a Mix Nine trinity reunion soon. I think I will cry when that happens.

Seven O’ Clock comeback

Seven O’ Clock will comeback on Oct 8 without Vaan and under a new agency, Forest Network. A-day officially changes his stage name to Hangyeom. Their group has been through a lot. It must be bittersweet for Song Hangyeom to move on without Vaan. But I’m hoping for the best for him and his group.

Oh maybe Vaan wants to join YG’s upcoming survival show? If that survival show pushes through, Byounggon and Hyunsuk may be able to finally debut.

Then, almost all of the Mix Nine Final 9 will be ‘active’!

Liveworks, what is your plan for Lee Rubin? Mix Nine fans are waiting for him too.

Did I unintentionally become a multi-fandom because of the failed Mix Nine debut? I’m stanning boy groups with Mix Nine members.

Yao Mingming, where are you? I’m inspired to create a Mix Nine dance line Twitter banner now. Bye.

Song Hangyeom dances ‘MOVE’

Seven O’ Clock’s Song Hangyeom a.k.a. A-Day does a cover of Taemin’s ‘MOVE’. While I’m not a fan of this choreography and song, I like Song Hangyeom’s dancing. He is great at hitting the beats. He has a good snap.

I hope he can release dance videos more often.

세븐어클락(SEVENOCLOCK) Dance Clips

I like seeing Song Hangyeom (the one in purple) dance. He is explosive when he does the snappy parts.

They covered 거짓말 by BIGBANG(빅뱅), Again & Again by 2PM, and Shock by HIGHLIGHT(하이라이트) in the first video.

They covered BTD by Infinite (인피니트),  으르렁 by EXO, and DNA by BTS (방탄소년단) in the second video.
